When 10-year-old Charlie Butcher took on a school project to connect with neighbours, family and friendly during lockdown, he came up with an idea that turned his whole street into a rainbow extravaganza.
"I asked everyone to cover their houses in beautiful rainbows to say thank you to the NHS and other key workers," said Charlie.
Bowleys Fine Shoes, a staple of the Richmond high street for many years, has closed.
The shoe shop on George Street has faced financial challenges including ever-increasing competition from online retailers.
Teachers and school staff in Richmond are receiving a letter from council chiefs thanking them for their service.

The Royal Parks charity has launched a Summer of Kindness campaign to combat unprecedented levels of litter being left by visitors.
A total of 42 tonnes of litter were collected in Richmond Park in June - a shocking 644% rise on the 5.64 tonnes that were collected in June 2019.
