Richmond has the third highest coronavirus infection rate in London after updated data shows what is thought to have been the borough's largest single week's increase in coronavirus cases so far.
In a video message Richmond Council leader Cllr Gareth Roberts said "it is absolutely vital we all follow the rules" to avoid spreading the virus and going into a local lockdown.
Positive coronavirus tests have been recorded among staff at St Mary's University.
A statement released by the university today (Monday, October 5) said: "We can confirm that a small number of non-teaching staff have tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).
Ramen fans are going crazy after the popular Japanese restaurant chain Bone Daddies announced it was opening in Richmond.
They shared a photo on Instagram with Wednesday, October 14 as its opening date.

Last month 169 motorists were caught driving illegally in Richmond Park, police said.
Trade and business vehicles are banned from entering the park and anyone caught is given a £50 fine.
