A multi-million pound plan to breathe new life into Twickenham Studios, creating a film and TV complex with a boutique cinema that will showcase its Oscar-winning talent has been unveiled.
Central to the transformation will be the construction of a new entrance building on the St Margarets Road at its junction with The Barons.
Kew is sparkling again after a successful fundraising drive and generous community donations brought Christmas to the village.
Lights were turned on yesterday (Wednesday, December 2), illuminating the village throughout the festive period.
Richmond was in a festive mood last week after a successful online event culminated in a spectacular Christmas lights switch on around the town.
Livestreamed on YouTube on Thursday, November 26, the event featured seasonal community entertainment from local performers including former Strictly Come Dancing professional Andrew Cuerden, Richmond Music Trust Jazz Band, St Richard's Primary School, Ibstock Place School and the Richmond Corporate Choir.
Police carried out an early morning drugs raid and found a small amount of cannabis.
Officers from four Richmond police teams - North and South Richmond, Kew and East Sheen - were involved in the raid on a home in Lambert Avenue, off Lower Richmond Road.

Stephen was taken ill in March. He'd been cycling earlier in the day but "woke up sweating buckets".
