The borough's main waste and recycling centre has now reopened but is still operating at a reduced capacity following a huge fire that did substantial damage back in June.
Booking is now essential at Townmead Road Re-use and Recycling Centre, and visitors arriving without a booking will be turned away. There is also no pedestrian access to the site.
Richmond's Covid cases have finally seen the first drop in numbers since May, after weeks of significant rises.
In Richmond Upon Thames 734 people tested positive last week, dropping by 28.9% from 1031 cases the week before (July 12-18).

Former Premier League footballer and Bristol Rovers manager Joey Barton appeared in court today after being charged with assault on June 2.
Barton, 38, pleaded not guilty to assault by beating at Wimbledon magistrates court this morning.
Almost 300 people of all ages and abilities were thrilled to join each other for the return of parkrun in Richmond Park.
The popular 5k run was effectively banned for some 70 weeks, one of the many victims of the Covid-19 lockdown and efforts to combat the spread of the virus.
The annual Surrey Food Festival is back 24th-25th July 2021 with gates opening at 10am in Richmond.
Local businesses will be showcasing a mouth-watering range of food and drink at Old Deer Park. There will be traders demonstrating and selling their products in the marketplace.

Residents can turn up for a jab without an appointment in Kew from 10am today, Saturday 24 July.
The vaccine clinic will be at Queen's C of E Primary School in Kew (Cumberland Road, Kew, TW9 3HJ) from 10am to 6pm on Saturday 24 July.

The Co-op and parkrun have joined forces to produce an inspirational video welcoming the nation back to the much-loved 5k events this Saturday.
The video was partly filmed along Richmond riverside and features a number of famous names, including Paul Sinton-Hewitt, who organised the first run in Bushy Park in 2004.

A community centre just over Richmond Bridge has spent lockdown transforming its outdoor space and has now unveiled a beautiful new sensory garden.
The ETNA (East Twickenham Neighbourhood Association) Community Centre is an inclusive space based on Rosslyn Road, home to lots of events and activities as well as its new sensory garden.
