Youth bus comes to Richmond Green to support young people

The  Youth Enquiry Service (YES) Bus is setting up shop on Fridays at Richmond Green to offer support services to local youth.

The YES Bus, delivered by Achieving for Children (AfC), is a mobile youth club that parks in various locations offering information, confidential advice, and someone you can talk to. 

It will be operated by professional youth workers and staff at the drop-in service are on hand to engage and support young people during the open access session, offering guidance for young people aged 14 to 19 on: 

  • Mental health
  • Relationships
  • C-card training 
  • Drug and alcohol
  • Street smart awareness
  • Online safety

AfC aim to offer safe spaces and be as inclusive and accessible as possible and will also be engaging with local residents and parents in relation to youth service support to help continue the successful delivery of the initiative.

The bus will be at Richmond Green on Fridays from 6pm to 9pm.
