Wreath-making, DIY kits and where to buy one in Richmond

By The Editor 24th Nov 2020

Feeling festive yet?

Wreaths may start popping up over Richmond and we wanted to highlight a few places where you can get your hands on one – or even craft it yourself.

Florist Bramble and Moss is selling its beautiful wreaths and they're available in 40, 50 and 60cm versions.

The Hill Rise shop posted on Instagram:

We know it's too early, but we're going to start anyway!!

Our GUSTAV door wreath is available on our website for delivery or collection.

If you'd like to make one up yourself please get in touch and we'll prepare you a DIY kit.

Sadly we won't be able to hold any wreath workshops this year but hopefully we'll see you soon in store!

Meanwhile, Turner's House museum in St Margarets is holding a virtual wreathmaking workshop.

It has teamed up with florist Flower Tonic for the event on Friday, December 11.

"Wind down and immerse yourself in nature this festive season as you learn how to make your very own fresh, moss-based Christmas wreath," the billing reads.

Places for the Zoom event cost £60 and you can book online here.

Gorgeous café and garden centre Petersham Nurseries are holding three workshops at its grounds in Petersham.

"Adorning your front door with a cheerful wreath welcomes your guests with seasons greetings," they said.

"At our immersive masterclass you will learn the art of wreath making, and how to celebrate an abundance of woodland materials and decorations that you can forage yourself or gather from your garden."

It costs £150 for a place on the classes which run for three hours each and take place on December 7, 8 and 14.
