Steve Chambers, head of residential at Barwood Capital said: "Forming long term relationships with experienced developers such as Kidbrook Homes has been an important focus for the Barwood Residential Platform, which invests in a range of high-quality schemes in select locations around the country.

"Our longstanding partners know the criteria we work to and so can concentrate on finding sites that will match up to deliver profits for them and for our investors.

He added: "We have around 130 high net worth investors at present and around 80% reinvest each time a scheme is concluded and profits are distributed."

Togher said: "We are very proud to be delivering this extraordinary acquisition in conjunction with Barwood Capital."

"Having worked together for many years this mutually successful relationship continues to go from strength to strength.
