A Women's Hub has been launched in Richmond to help support survivors and build community.

Richmond Council is partnering with local organisations Voices of Hope and the Vineyard Community Centre to help women feel safer in the borough.

The Women's Hub will run every Wednesday during term time.

This new project will deliver holistic support enabling women survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence or multiple disadvantages who live in the borough to thrive and recover in a community wellbeing setting.

Through the partnership, they offer crisis support, individual peer-mentoring support and community support.

  • Day: Every Wednesday (only during term-time)
  • Time: 11am to 2.30pm
  • Location: Vineyard Community Centre, Richmond Hill, TW10 6AQ

The Sisterhood Choir (from 11am) and Sisterhood Sanctuary (from 12.30pm) will provide signing, craft and wellbeing sessions with lunch provisions every Wednesday in a central, easily accessible location.

The support will focus on empowerment, building self-esteem and confidence, developing new hobbies and building friendships with other women in the community.
