Richmond Council has released a list of local organisations and community groups that are working together to prevent anyone from feeling lonely or isolated on Christmas Day.

Churches Together, Teddington:

There will be entertainment, mince pies and other refreshments plus a chance to join in carols and other activities. Transport can be provided for those who need it. Booking required.

Never Alone at Christmas:

This free event is hosted for families who will struggle financially/socially over Christmas.

Attendees will leave with plenty of goodies having had a hot meal and some fun.

Father Christmas will be there and there will be live music too.

There are limited spaces so booking required to avoid disappointment.

Christmas Day Lunch at Sidra:

Sidra Restaurants (https://sidrauk.com/) in Teddington and Twickenham are offering a free Christmas Day lunch to individuals who would otherwise be isolated or alone at Christmas.

There are limited spaces and you must book in advance to attend.

Churches Together, Whitton:

Churches Together in Whitton cordially invite the elderly and those on their own to join them for a traditional Christmas Day lunch.

Transport can be provided for those who need it. Booking required, limited spaces.

United Response Christmas Day Quiz:

United Response, who support disabled people across Richmond and Kingston, are hosting their annual Christmas Day quiz online via Microsoft Teams.

Christmas Day Bingo, Whitton:

Whitton Community Centre are putting on Christmas Day Bingo for local people with free hot drinks and mince pies provided.
