Islay whisky tasting night with The Whisky Don - Thursday 19 October:

Come along to The Crossing in Barnes and join a (virtual) trip to the island of Islay, often referred to as Whisky Island.

You can taste whiskies from five of the 9 operating distilleries on this most amazing whisky island.

Holly Lodge Quiz Night - Friday 20 October:

The popular Holly Lodge Quiz Night is taking place this Friday with the ever-entertaining Adrian Mills, TV/radio presenter, as Quizmaster.

Tickets are £20 and will include a light supper and a licensed bar open throughout the evening.

You can either form a table of six people or join a table of other quizzers on the night. All very informal and highly entertaining.

All proceeds will to go to the Holly Lodge Centre charity based in a Victorian house in Richmond Park, where we provide immersive learning experiences on nature, history and science focusing particularly on those with special needs.

Barnes Common Autumn Fayre - Saturday 21 October:

Barnes Autumn Fayre is returning this Saturday to celebrate Apple Day and all things autumn.

There will be opportunities for you to bring apples for juicing in their traditional apple presser, an eco explorers photo walk, family activities, crafts, conkers and lots of cake!
