James Norton (Happy Valley) stars in the theatrical event of 2023 in the English language premiere of A Little Life from the visionary director Ivo van Hove.

The play follows four college friends in New York City: aspiring actor Willem, successful architect Malcolm, struggling artist JB, and prodigious lawyer Jude.

As ambition, addiction, and pride threaten to pull the group apart, they always find themselves bound by their love for Jude and the mysteries of his past. 

The much-anticipated play also stars Luke Thompson (Bridgerton, Hamlet), Omari Douglas (It's A Sin, Constellations), Zach Wyatt (The Witcher, I and You), Elliot Cowan (The Crown, 2:22 A Ghost Story), Zubin Varla (Tammy Faye, Equus), Nathalie Armin (Force Majeure, The Doctor), and Emilio Doorgasingh (Best of Enemies, The Kite Runner).

Kris Marshall stars alongside Eve Ponsonby in Ryan Craig's timely new play following Lotty and Teddy on a decade long romance.

The couple pick their way through the professional minefield of cancel culture, gender politics and power struggles that is their very modern workplace and even more modern relationship.

Tara Fitzgerald and Maureen Beattie star in Tom Kempinski's gripping and touching winner of the London Theatre Critics Award for Best Play.

Stephanie Abrahams (Tara Fitzgerald) is a world-renowned concert violinist at the peak of her career, but upon receiving life-changing news, she is forced to look for a new way to live.

Her composer husband sends her to psychiatrist Dr Feldmann (Maureen Beattie), but Stephanie isn't interested in offers of help. As her beloved music falls silent, Stephanie must dig deep into her past to face an unknown future.

Tom Kempinski's moving and hopeful 1980 drama has triumphed in the West End and on Broadway, and was turned into a feature film starring Julie Andrews and Alan Bates. This beautiful new production, specially adapted for the OT, is accompanied by live music.

In Women's Words, Sisters Stories, vocalist Ineza and the Alex Webb Trio explore the repertoire penned by the great female songstresses –

Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Betty Carter and Abbey Lincoln.

Ineza is a Rwandan-born Belgian Jazz singer, based in London. She is a graduate of both Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and Maastricht Conservatoire in The Netherlands.

Alex Webb is a pianist, arranger and songwriter with a long history of working with leading jazz vocalists; his songs have been recorded by Liane Carroll, China Moses, Jo Harrop, Allan Harris, Cherise, Ayanna Witter-Johnson and many others.

Actress/writer Caroline Burns Cooke's show examines the life of glamorous sitcom legend Yootha Joyce.

Caroline brings her whole story, from her inauspicious birth on Wandsworth Common, through Yootha's fantastic theatrical and sitcom career (and all the personal stuff alongside) to her death and alcoholism at the age of 53.

Saturday, March 18 - Fauré Requiem, Franck Mass in A Major

Concordia Voices, a chamber choir based in Hampton Hill, will be singing Gabriel Fauré's well-loved Requiem and a less well-known work by another French composer.

This work, César Franck's Mass in A Major, includes another well-loved piece, Panis Angelicus. As a small choir, we aim to bring attention to the subtle aspects of both works.

Also included will be the first performance of Agnus Dei by Matthew Greenway, one of the choir members.

The Festival's fun monthly kids' book club continues with Aisling Fowler and her smash hit fantasy debut, Fireborn.

After the Hunting Lodge is invaded and a little girl is kidnapped, only one courageous young warrior is interested in going after the child, setting off on a desperate race through the forbidden Frozen Forest to rescue her friend where the obstacles become more and more dangerous.

One Paved Court

Until April 2 – Lushness of Nature

Errika Pontevichi shows a collection of new works on canvas and drawings.

The paintings are bursting with life as she expresses her emotions through loose and energetic brushwork. Some areas are vibrant with little brush strokes and others are overlaid by fields of simple colour.

The Italian artist, who is based in London, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna Italy and worked as an assistant in the studio of artist Giancarlo Bargoni. She is shortlisted for the Jackson's Painting Prize 2022.

From jazz to reggae, this exploration of Black musicians is not simply Black history but Richmond's history. By learning about our culturally diverse past and traditionally unheard voices, we can look forward to the next exciting chapter together.

New exhibition brings iconic and unknown archival documents to life to shed light on the nature of British justice through the ages.

Fascinating stories are explored from the Gunpowder Plot and Anne Boleyn to lesser-known stories of the cook that poisoned the porridge, the girl put on trial for being a witch and the enslaved Baptist preacher.
