It's safe to say when it comes to coffee shops, Teddington is more than covered.

However, the town's exciting new offering is like no other and one residents should be eager to familiarise themselves with.

Pink Maple opened its doors on The Causeway at the beginning of January offering locals an irresistible range of handmade south Asian street food, balanced by traditional British classics including sausage and hog roast rolls.

Pink Maple Coffee House is Teddington's latest independent addition.

The coffee house is run by Dhara whose warm hospitality is reflected by her team of part-time baristas.

The Pink Maple owner explained she was wary of the flood of coffee shops already present in Teddington but felt that there was some room for what she had to offer.

Dhara told Nub News: "Honestly, I have been so taken aback by the support of the Teddington community since we launched at the beginning of the year. They've been incredibly encouraging.

"It's only been a month and I have already had people come in eager to try the much talked about dirty chai, spicy chickpea chana chaat, suji pakora and dhokla. No one in the area is offering the niche savoury options Pink Maple has on its shelves and we are thrilled to offer locals an exclusive experience."

Nub News popped by to get a taste of the hype and we were spoilt by the ever-accommodating Dhara.

The dirty chai latte offers a delicate balance of spice and coffee with just a touch of mild sweetness while the savoury options were simply delicious.

The sausage rolls, vegan rolls, cheese rolls and hog roast rolls are second to none.

The hog roast rolls and vegetable samosas are just two of the mouth-watering range of snacks on offer at Teddington's new Pink Maple cafe.

From the dhokla and vegetable pakora to the chana chaat and suji pakora, Pink Maple offers customers an explosion of flavours exquisitely packed into carefully constructed snacks.

Dhara, just this weekend, has added handmade quality cakes to her menu and there are a wonderful range of nutritious smoothies also available.

It marks another wonderful independently-owned business in Teddington which is without doubt, here to stay.

Visit Pink Maple today located at 8 on The Causeway, open Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Saturday 9.30am – 4.30pm and Sunday 9.30am – 4pm.
