Waterstones Café in Richmond stripped out in store reorganisation

The café in Richmond's Waterstones is no more.

A revamp of the bookshop is taking place and, sadly, the café is not a part of its future.

The coffee making facilities have been stripped out and the area where the tables used to be is blocked off.

It's a shame to lose the café which was run by a friendly team of staff.

A note to customers reads: "Please do excuse the disruption to our first floor.

"We are currently having a mini refit that we hope to complete in 10 days.

"If you are looking for books from our food and drink, diet, gardening and interior design section please ask a member of staff.

"Many thanks for your patience."
