Wednesday is looking like it'll be a washout as Storm Barbara brings heavy rain over from Spain and Portugal.

A weather warning covering all of London has been issued by the Met Office.

It runs between 3am and 2pm on Wednesday (October 21) and warns:

  • bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
  • spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
  • flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible.

In Richmond the forecast is for probable rain from 6am until 3pm, so it could be an extremely wet day.

The heaviest rain is expected from 8am until noon.
