Fancy becoming a firefighter one day, or curious to know more about the life of a firefighter?

Richmond fire station is opening its doors for a non-emergency event in September, as the public is invited for a fun and educational open day.

When:Sunday September 19

Time: 12 noon to 4.30pm

There will be lots of fun stalls and activities, and opportunities for children to look around an operational fire engine, have a go at using the hose, and watch live rescue demonstrations from fire crews as well as the RNLI and London Ambulance service.
