A 17-year-old was taken to hospital with minor facial injuries after a robbery in which his £400 Armani watch was stolen.

It happened on Amyand Park Road in St Margarets at about 6.15pm on Sunday, July 19.

Police attended and were later called to Kneller Hall in Twickenham where three men were stopped and searched.

The force said: "One of the males, a 16-year-old [A], matched that of one of the suspects involved in the robbery at Amyand Park Road earlier that evening.

"He was also found in possession of an Armani watch. Consequently, he was arrested for robbery. The result of the other two searches were negative.

"Male A is currently in police custody and has been further arrested for theft and assault, unrelated to this matter.

"As a result of police enquiries, a second arrest has been made.

"Male B, also 16, was arrested on Monday, July 20 for robbery and is currently in police custody."
