A team from Professor Puzzle, the world renowned games and puzzle company based in Twickenham, have put their best foot forward in support for the people of Ukraine.
Not many people are aware of that the fact that this puzzles company, which recently celebrated its 20ths anniversary, has a head office on our doorstep.
It was started by Ben Meldrum, who was inspired by street games vendors in India, and today employs over 80 people at offices in Twickenham, Bristol and the USA.
It began with metal puzzles created in its UK workshop and sold on market stalls and now styles itself as the world's leading puzzle supplier, selling through John Lewis and many others in the US and beyond.
Its mind-bending puzzles and games include Dangers in the Deep, Escape from the Grand Hotel and I Moustache You A Question, while it also makes premium versions of traditional outdoor favourites, such as skittles and boules.
Recently, staff from the Twickenham office were spotted on Richmond Hill as they took part in a sponsored walk to raised funds for the people of Ukraine.
Spokesman Laura Tozer said: "As a company we wanted to do something to help the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and other areas dealing with conflict, so our founder Ben organised a sponsored walk for the team to help raise funds."
The chose the DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee), which is an umbrella group of UK charities which coordinates and launches collective appeals to raise funds to provide emergency aid and rapid relief to people caught up in disasters and humanitarian crises around the world.
Laura said: "The Professor Puzzle Twickenham team walked 15km from Richmond to Kingston. We wore blue and yellow balloons for the occasion, and along our walk we stopped for some seasonal activities such as an Easter Egg hunt and then an egg and spoon race, which went on for almost 5km in itself. As a puzzles and games company, we're quite competitive!"
The following week, the company's Bristol team completed a further 10km challenge.
The fund raising total currently stands at an incredible £4,210 and donations to its efforts can still be made via a just giving link here
