The Mall School in Twickenham will welcome more girls into the school in September, following a successful move to co-education in September 2023.

In response to demand from families with daughters wanting to join the school, The Mall is now accepting registrations for places in September 2024 for girls (and boys) in Year 2 as well as Reception and Year 1.

The move to co-education has not only proved popular with parents of girls, but also parents with boys wanting a co-educational environment. The independent school said it is delighted with how quickly our Reception children have settled and made friends.

Interest in the Reception and Year 1 classes in September is proving so popular that The Mall School only has two places remaining in each before moving to a wait list while it considers opening additional classes. Confirmed offers of places will be sent to the first 25 children registered for 2025 entry on 1 March 2024. All children at the nursery are automatically offered places.

The Mall will also welcome a new Headmaster in September. Mr Sam Gosden is currently Head of Dolphin School, a co-educational school for 2-11 year old children in Clapham. Prior to that he was Head of Lower School (Pastoral) at Kensington Park School and Director of Music and Head of Digital Strategy at Newland House School in Teddington giving him a sound knowledge and appreciation of the local area and the senior schools popular with our pupils.

All parents interested in their children joining the school in September 2024 and September 2025 are encouraged to come to the school's theatre on either Thursday 1 February at 8.00am or Monday 19 February at 6.30pm to meet Sam and hear his plans for his headship. Please email [email protected] to book your place at this event.
