Clink those glasses... Oktoberfest is coming to Richmond!

The three-day event is styled on the annual German beer and music festival held in Munich.

Organisers are promising live oompah bands, traditional food, steins of German bier and entertainers including DJs.

They said: "Our touring bier hall marquee will be arriving in Richmond this Oktober for the biggest party of the year!"

Oktoberfest Richmond is happening at Richmond Athletic Ground from Thursday, September 30 until Saturday, October 2.

The hours on the Thursday and Friday are 5-11pm. Saturday's event starts at 6.30pm and runs until 11.30pm.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 26.
