The UK's biggest travelling food and music festival comes to Syon Park in May

The UK's biggest touring food and music festival is coming to Syon Park in Isleworth on the May Bank Holiday weekend.
The 27th to the 29th May will see Foodies Festival visit London the only time this year and it will be based at Syon Park in Isleworth, with a huge array of live food competition and demonstrations, live music, and top-notch street food.
The three-day event will see a mix of live cooking competitions and demonstrations and music, featuring a star-studded line-up which includes: Fleur East, Scouting for Girls, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Ellis-Bextor said: "It's wonderful to be joining the Foodies Festival tour again. Warm summer weekends full of lovely food and music, and families having fun together – I can't wait!"
Some of the people already confirmed to be taking part in the live cooking contests include: Great British Bake Off 2022 winner, Syabira Yusoff, MasterChef: The Professionals 2022 champion, Nikita Pathakji, Young MasterChef 2023 champion, Keziah Dior, MasterChef: The Professionals champion, Steven Edwards, MasterChef champion, Dhruv Baker, MasterChef: The Professionals finalist, Charlie Jeffreys, Great British Bake Off finalist, Jurgen Krauss, stars of Channel 4's Extreme Cake Makers and founders of Black Box Cake, Christine and Phil Jensen and ITV's Love Island cast members, chef and authors John and Tony Alberti (The Alberti Twins).
Alongside the competitions there will also be live demonstrations in growing fruit and vegetables; tastings of champagne, wine, beer, cider, and cocktails; and much more.
Aside from the live entertainment, there will be a Shopping Village which holds many local artisans who are serving exciting and exotic dishes, with street food available from all over the world.
Director Sue Hitchen said: "Foodies Festivals are a celebration of amazing food, drink and entertainment and we are proud to support local artisan producers and restaurants.
"We've all had a difficult few years, so to help keep things affordable festival prices have been frozen for the third year running – even though our stars and features get bigger and better every year. We offer a great value day out for families and friends."
For the fifth consecutive year, Foodies Festival is supporting Musicians Against Homelessness, with the money from tickets helping to raise funds to support homelessness in the UK.
