Teenager charged with murder of 53-year-old in Barnes

A homeless teenager has been charged with murdering a 53-year-old man.

William Algar, known to his friends and family as Blaise, was discovered during a search of his home in Barnes.

Emeka Dawuda-Wodu, of no fixed address, has been charged with his murder and remains in custody.

Detectives continue to appeal for information and are especially keen to hear from anyone who may have had contact with Blaise in December 2019.

Anyone with information that could assist police with their enquiries is asked to contact the incident room on 020 8721 4054.
