Teenage girl suffers ‘life changing injuries’ in fall

A teenage girl suffered life-changing injuries following a fall from a car park in central Kingston on Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened at the multi-storey Seven Kings car park, which is close to the Double Tree Hilton hotel.

The Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called to a car park in Skerne Road at 5.30pm on Saturday, October 8, to reports of an injured teenage girl after a fall from height.

"Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS). She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

"Her condition has been assessed as non-life-threatening but life changing."

London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 5:16pm on October 8 to reports of an incident in Skerne Road, Kingston.

"We sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a cycle paramedic, an incident response officer, members of our Hazardous Area Response Team and we also dispatched medics from London's Air Ambulance.

"We treated a child at the scene and took them as a priority to a major trauma centre."
