Filming of Series 3 of the US comedy series Ted Lasso resumed outside The Prince's Head pub on Richmond Green yesterday with a busker singing The Beatles hit Hey Jude and all the regulars joining in.

As usual, the pub was transformed into The Crown & Anchor for filming purposes while Danish singer and songwriter Alex Vargas played Hey Jude on guitar next to a tree outside the pub.

Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis and Coach Beard, played by Brendan Hunt and Ted's son in the series, Henry played by Gus Turner, could be seen sat on a table outside the pub deep in conversation and being served two pints of lager and a pint of milk for Henry by the pub's landlady Mae, played by Annette Badland.

Coach Beard is wearing his full AFC Richmond tracksuit but when Mae asks Henry where he has been, he answers West Ham, opening his jacket to show his shirt.

Coach Beard, played by Brendan Hunt, sports the full AFC Richmond tracksuit on Paved Court.

Ted steps away from the table where fish and chips are served to take a phone call while Coach Beard explains the background to the Beatles song. In the series Ted is estranged from Henry's mother, who is in the US.

Eventually the pub regulars join the busker singing Hey Jude with Ted, Coach Beard banging the table and belting out the famous chorus of Naa na na na na na na na na na Hey Jude.

The latest filming attracted a big crowd outside the pub but they were kept back from the cameras by security guards and fans were asked not to take photos while the cameras were rolling. Aircraft noise regularly interrupted the filming.

Jason took advantage of a break in filming to happily pose for photos and sign autographs including meeting a dog called Sonya and wishing a wheelchair-bound fan a Happy Birthday and being photographed with her.

The award-winning APPLE TV+ series is expected to air later this year and much of the filming has taken place in Richmond, Twickenham, Hayes and Yeading football stadium and West London Studios.
