A fabulous array of spooky events is planned for a Halloween party in Twickenham's Church Street.

The pedestrianised street is packed full of independent shops and restaurants, who will be hosting the fun and games on Sunday.

Separately, the Twickenham Riverside Trust will be running a Halloween disco for under 11s at the Diamond Jubilee Gardens through Sunday afternoon.

In Church Street, look out for a Trick or Treat Children's Treasure Hunt – hosted By Sweet Memories.

Just grab your form from their sweet shop, follow the treasure hunt and hand your completed forms back to them for a treat of sweets.

There is free children's face painting and balloon magic, along with craft stalls and tasty street food.

Entertainment is promised with live jazz, plus a DJ and music from Luci P, which is hosted by barbershop and social hub, Jimmy Marums.

A Terrifying Tombola is hosted by the Hare and the Moon, run by Tracey Pretty, and the same venue also has Tarot reading.

The packed schedule includes a fancy dress competition, hosted by Mint, as well as Punch & Judy at the Square.

There is a Traders Pumpkin carving competition - judged by a special guest – a spooky potions event, hosted by The Bloomery, while Tsaretta Spice will be offered by Tsaretta Spice.

Most of the events are planned to run from 2pm-8pm, however adults will be able to enjoy the Zombie Takeover Party at The Brewery Market, from 7pm-11pm.

Church Street has become the heart and soul of Twickenham, as hub for social and community events.

A JustGiving page has been set up in the hope locals will support Church Street to fund the Halloween event and the many others organised throughout the year.
