1. Here in America - Orange Tree Theatre

About: On a rainswept afternoon in 1952, Hollywood and Broadway’s leading director, Elia Kazan met his closest collaborator, the playwright Arthur Miller. As the anti-communist crusade of McCarthyism blacklisted hundreds of their colleagues, Kazan and Miller faced a stark choice.

Should they betray their friends, or risk never working again?

2. Comics Club: Villains - The Alligator's Mouth

About: There are still spaces for kids to join this month's Comic Club from The Alligator's Mouth.

The bookshop say: "Muah ha ha haaa! This month, the Comics Club theme is Villains!

"We'll create villainous characters and draw their secret lairs before drawing a short comic strip about their dastardly antics."

Comics Club is run by staff member Mark who also runs Quickdraw Stories arts education company.

When: Thursday, 19 September at 4:15pm-5:05pm.

3. Bearcat Running Club - The Turk's Head

The Turk's Head, Twickenham host a running club every Sunday morning (credit: The Turk's Head).

About: Founded in 2012 by Caitlin Limmer The Bearcat Running Club meets inside the Turks Head Pub at 8.30am and is under the umbrella of Run England.

The ethos of the club is "the people come first, the running comes a very close second".

It is a hugely supportive group of on average 70-90 runners who meet up and run in seven different ability groups every Sunday with a UKA Leader in Running Fitness in each group.
