1. Hedda - Orange Tree Theatre

About: London, 1948. The war is over, India is newly independent, and Hedda Gabler has retired: early, elegantly, and with secrets. Once a Hollywood star, now the wife of rising British film director George Tesman, Hedda lives in Chelsea, hiding behind drawn curtains. But the past is beginning to stir.

Her husband is asking questions. An old colleague has written a screenplay that cuts too close to the truth. And there’s a powerful producer in town: and he never takes no for an answer.

2. Anna Chai Quartet - The Jazz Sanctuary

About: The Jazz Sanctuary welcomes back saxophonist, flutist, and composer Anna Chai to The Turk's Head.

"Anna presents an incredible lineup to bring her original musical visions to life," The Jazz Sanctuary says.

"This project explores raw, authentic music, combining elements Anna deeply connects with Flamenco cross rhythms, Indian classical tabla cycles, American hard bop, and modal jazz blend into a highly experimental approach to compositions, arrangements, and improvisations."

3. East Sheen Halloween Trail

About: East Sheen's Spooktacular Halloween Trail returns this weekend.

Families, friends, and fancydress fans are invited to take part in the East Sheen Halloween Trail, a spinetingling celebration designed to bring the community together while supporting local businesses.

The adventure will begin at the Hare & Hounds Pub on Upper Richmond Road West, where participants can pick up their Halloween Trail Map.

From there, they will follow the spooky route around participating venues, collecting letters at each stop and filling their Halloween bags with treats along the way.

When: Saturday, 25 October. 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.

Where: Hare & Hounds, 214215 Upper Richmond Road West, SW14 8AH

Price: £6 per child (adults go free).
