GCSE students in Ham can now access extra support in Maths, English and Science as First Class Learning expands its tuition offering for the new academic year.

First Class Learning Richmond & Ham is introducing dedicated GCSE tuition at its Ham centre, with sessions running from 5pm to 7pm.

The centre will primarily offer GCSE Maths, alongside English and Science, including support for students taking either Combined or Triple Science.

The new sessions are aimed at GCSE students who want to strengthen their understanding of key subjects, address gaps in their knowledge or simply benefit from some additional support alongside their school studies.

Centre manager Peggy Zaman said the aim is to make high-quality GCSE support accessible and affordable for local families.

Students who sign up by 10 September can secure tuition for £100 per month, per subject.

The new classes could be particularly useful for Year 10 students beginning their GCSE courses, giving them an opportunity to build strong foundations from the outset.

They are also open to Year 11 students approaching their final GCSE year, including those who may be struggling with particular topics, have gaps in their knowledge or want additional support as their exams draw closer.

First Class Learning uses personalised programmes tailored to each student's individual needs and abilities, with an emphasis on mastering topics and building confidence rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Students can complete an initial assessment to help identify their strengths and areas where additional support may be needed before a programme is put together for them.

Tuition is delivered in small groups, allowing students to receive individual attention while developing the confidence and independent study skills that can support them throughout their GCSE courses.

The Ham centre is based at Ham Hall, Ham Close, Richmond, TW10 7PL.
