Trains from Richmond towards London Waterloo have been cancelled and delayed this afternoon (Thursday, 9 April) after a person died on the tracks between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police told Nub News: ""We were called to Queenstown Road railway station at 11.49am on 9 April to reports of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics also attended and sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. This incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
