Scott’s Richmond applies for new signage and branded flag

A seafood and fish restaurant in Richmond has applied for new signage and a flag.
Scott's Richmond, located on Whittaker Avenue, has submitted an application for the "installation of branded flag and external signage."
The plans were put forward by Pegasus Group on behalf of Scott's parent company, Caprice Holdings Ltd.
In its application, Pegasus Group said: "The applicant proposes to add a vertical external sign bearing the 'Scott's' logo, designed to match the existing branding style, measuring 4.075m in height and 0.405m in width.
"The logo lettering will be made from polished brass with a depth of 50mm.
"The sign is proposed for the building's rear elevation at first-floor level.
"Additionally, the applicant proposes to install a flag displaying the 'Scott's' logo, mounted externally, with dimensions of 1.5m by 0.9m.
"The flag would be positioned on the building's side elevation, to the right of the main entrance, at first-floor level."

The Whittaker Avenue site comprises a three-storey building to the rear, which borders the River Thames, and a two-storey building at the front.
Richmond Council is yet to decide on the application. To read the application in full, click here.
