There is heavy traffic all around Richmond this morning (Tuesday, September 29).

Congestion on the A316 Chertsey Road is adding about nine minutes to travel times and is particularly heavy around the St Margarets Roundabout.

Traffic is crawling at an average speed of 5mph in and around Richmond town centre.

The AA said: "Delays of three minutes and delays easing on A305 Bridge Street Eastbound between Cambridge Park and A307 Hill Street. Average speed five mph."

In Twickenham, six minutes are being added to journey times for motorists using Staines Road.
