As part of National Clean-Up Fortnight a local Rotary Club cleaned a stretch of the towpath between Richmond and Twickenham on Sunday morning.

Richmond Rotary Club met at 10am armed with litter picking tools and bags, then walked along the towpath clearing rubbish as they went.

After a successful litter pick, the Rotarians and friends met for drinks on Richmond Green while the stash of recently-picked litter was collected by Richmond Council's waste carrier.
