Richmond restaurants vow to continue Eat Out to Help Out in September

By The Editor 29th Aug 2020

August has been a festival of dining thanks to the Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

It gives people 50% off their food and non-alcoholic drinks up to a saving of £10 each.

The scheme officially ends on Monday, August 31 which is your last chance at most participating venues to enjoy the discount.

A number of Richmond restaurants are offering similar deals throughout September too.

The White Swan on Old Palace Lane is one of those. The pub posted on Instagram: "Happy Bank Holiday everyone!

"Monday sees the last Eat Out to Help Out but we want to keep it going. At present it is only going to be for pre-booked tables on a Monday throughout September. However, throughout September we are also going to bring in 50% off bottles of wine up to £25 on Tuesday nights!

"We'd also like to take this moment to wholeheartedly say thank you to all who have visited us these past 2 months. The kindness, understanding and generosity has made it a pleasure to work."

Eat Out to Help Out will also be running at contemporary Indian restaurant Chatora on Monday-Wednesday next week (August 31 until September 2).

The Kew Road restaurant urged customers to book ahead.

Kew Gardens Hotel, meanwhile, will continue the Eat Out to Help Out discounts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughtout September.
