Richmond restaurant to bring back '2001 prices' to mark anniversary
By Nub News Reporter 25th May 2026
Food lovers in Richmond will soon get a chance to step back in time as a celebrated modern Indian menu returns to the borough for a limited run.
After a sell-out launch earlier this year, the Retro Menu from Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond is going on tour across London, revisiting some of the dishes that helped define the Cinnamon Collection when it first opened in 2001.
Created by Executive Chef Vivek Singh to mark 25 years of modern Indian dining, the menu brings back original dishes at their launch prices, with some plates starting from just £5.
The offering will be available for a limited period across selected Cinnamon restaurants, including a special stop in Richmond from 26 May to 7 June.
Diners in Richmond will be able to enjoy the menu inside the colourful surroundings of Cinnamon Bazaar, which takes inspiration from India's bustling street markets and trading culture.
The tour began in Battersea before moving through the City of London and returning to Richmond and then The Cinnamon Club in Westminster for a final month in August.
Executive Chef Vivek Singh said: "When we created the Retro Menu at The Cinnamon Club, the response from guests was incredible.
"Many of these dishes hold a special place in our story, and taking the menu on tour felt like the perfect way to share that experience with the wider Cinnamon community across London."
Bookings for the Retro Menu tour are now open via Cinnamon Club Retro Menu here.
