A Richmond pub has closed over the weekend due to a staff member receiving a positive covid test.

The Rising Sun in Richmond said it is closing as a precaution while it waits for all its staff to receive their test results.

The rising Sun is at 277-279 Richmond Road, Twickenham TW1 2NP, opposite Marble Hill Park and close to both Richmond and St Margarets station.

It describes itself as a classic local pub with a modern twist.

We hope it can reopen again soon with that wonderful beer garden!
