Richmond pop-up library now open while main library is closed

By The Editor 24th Jun 2021

A pop-up library has now opened on Quadrant Road while Richmond's main library is closed for repair.

The temporary library is at the Richmond Library Annexe on Quadrant Road, a few steps away from the main library doors.

Richmond Library closed temporarily on Saturday June 12 due to old World War Two bomb damage.

Repairs will likely take until mid-September 2021.

The Library Annexe operates 7 days a week and for the same hours as Richmond Lending Library.

Users can reserve books via the Click & Collect services and browse selections of stock that have been moved from the Lending Library to the Annexe.

The Annexe also has a children's book area, and public computers are available at the nearby Information and Reference Library.

For more information visit the library website.
