Richmond office unit to be converted into new three-bedroom home

Plans to convert an office unit into a three-bedroom home in Richmond have been granted prior approval.
The proposal, submitted by Hollins Planning Ltd on behalf of Mr David Laycock, relates to 21, Unit 17 to 18, Station Point, Sandycombe Road.
The conversion will include an integrated cycle store within the ground floor lobby, providing space for two bicycles.

This mirrors a previously approved application for neighbouring units 19 and 20.
A satellite refuse and recycling store is also proposed outside the building.
On collection days, future residents will have access to the existing residential refuse and recycling store located next to the undercroft near the building's entrance.

As part of the application, a sworn statement was provided confirming that Mr Laycock purchased the property in 2015 and that the space has been in continuous use as an office for his web development company, Red Snapper.
The premises are still currently occupied by the business.
