Richmond O2 Store hit by shoplifters who 'forced' staff into stock room

The Met Police has launched enquiries after shoplifters stole phones and "forced" workers into a stock room of a store in Richmond.
South Richmond Safer Neighbourhoods Team revealed that it responded to a call yesterday (27 February 2025) at the O2 Store on The Quadrant, Richmond where "a number of males" entered the shop, made staff go into the stock room and stole "a number of mobile phones".
Met Police Sergeant Richard Wright, said: "Thankfully, nobody was injured, nor were any weapons used during the commission of the offence.
"Enquiries are ongoing as we speak."
