Richmond Council has released a full list of the candidates standing in the local elections which take place next month.

Across the 18 wards in Richmond upon Thames, 250 candidates will battle for its 54 seats on 7 May 2026.

The number of candidates for each party is as follows:

  • Liberal Democrats - 54
  • Labour Party - 53
  • Conservative Party - 54
  • Reform UK - 45
  • Green Party - 15
  • Independents - 29

All wards in Richmond have three seats which is why parties may put more or less candidates up for election in the same area.
