The Richmond Light Orchestra will return this December with a spectacular concert celebrating the events and music of the year.

The 60-piece orchestra will perform at  St Mary's Church, taking audiences on a musical journey through 2025 with a programme that includes a medley from Les Misérables, marking the musical's 40th anniversary and music from Disney's Hercules, which made its West End debut earlier this year.

Film fans can look forward to stirring renditions of Apollo 13, honouring the late astronaut Jim Lovell, and Downton Abbey, celebrating the release of the franchise's final film.

In a nod to one of Britain's most iconic bands, the orchestra will also perform a special orchestral version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, commemorating 40 years since the legendary 1985 Live Aid concert.

Seasonal favourites will include Winter Wonderland, a suite of songs from Love Actually, and The Snowman featuring soprano Isobel Coughlan.

Audiences can also join in with a selection of sing-along carols to get into the holiday spirit.
