Turkish restaurant Efes Plus officially opened its doors to Richmond, replacing the 93-year-old Quality Fish & Chip Restaurant.

Efes Plus on King Street had its grand opening on 21 January, serving Turkish and Mediterranean food, as well as "London's finest döner".

Via social media, the restaurant said: "Elevate your dining experience at Efes Plus, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Richmond.

"As our second location following the success of Efes Premium, we're proud to offer London's finest döner.ㅤ

"Our menu seamlessly blends traditional Turkish and Mediterranean dishes with a contemporary twist, all thoughtfully prepared using the freshest ingredients."

Alongside familiar Turkish dishes such as Amuse Bouche, Döner and Baklava, the restaurant also serves Fish and Chips as part its daily special on Mondays.

However, on its website it shows that the restaurant is open daily from 12pm to 10pm but closed on Mondays.

Efes Plus told Nub News: "At the moment, we're temporarily closed on Mondays due to a staff shortage.

"But it's only a short-term thing, and we'll be open seven days a week very soon."
