A Richmond Indian restaurant has been featured in 'Time and Leisure's' round-up of the ten best Curry restaurants in South west London and Surrey.

Swaget Indian Restaurant, situated on Richmond Hill is listed as number seven on the list, with Bombay Delight in Wimbledon featuring as the top pick.

The round-up says: "Swagat is a cosy and rosy-lit Indian restaurant serving excellent food.

"They offer a tempting variety of delicious curries, with a hugely extensive selection of prawn and chicken dishes, and the veggie options are stacked too: we recommend the pindi chole, made from chickpeas tempered with ginger, green chilli and raw mango powder."

A spokesperson from Swagat said: "Swagat Indian Cuisine offers a delectable journey into the heart of Indian flavours, a culinary adventure that tantalizes taste buds and transports diners to the vibrant streets of India.

"From the moment you step through the door, the warm and inviting ambience sets the stage for an authentic dining experience.

They added: "Swagat Indian Cuisine isn't just a restaurant; it's a celebration of India's culinary heritage.

"With its commitment to authenticity, quality, and service, Swagat stands out as a beacon of excellence in the world of Indian dining, inviting patrons to savour the magic of India, one bite at a time."
