Twickenham Police Station's front counter will reopen to the public in mid-September.

The 24-hour front counter has been closed while refurbishment work was taking place.

It will reopen at 7am on Tuesday, September 15.

The temporary front counter, based at Teddington Police Station, will close at the same time.

Met Police said: "The refurbishment work was carried out to create a more modern facility which will meet the demands of 21st century policing. It will also reduce the running costs of the estate.

"There are a range of ways for the public to contact the police, including online via our website.

"In an emergency, people should continue to call 101 or 999 if it is urgent."

You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
