Raver Tots brings junior DJ talent search to Richmond this August

Family friendly rave, Raver Tots, is partnering with AlphaTheta to help discover the UK's next generation of young DJs in Richmond.
The new initiative will launch at two flagship Raver Tots festivals over the next two months.
First in Reading on 20 July and in Richmond on 31 August, giving children an opportunity to step behind the decks and try their hand at DJing with professional equipment, in a fun and relaxed setting.
Raver Tots say it is all part of a mission to make DJing more accessible and inclusive for kids and families, while shining a spotlight on homegrown talent.
Director at Raver Tots, Saoirse Holland, said: "We've seen incredible young talent come through our events — kids as young as four getting on the decks and playing with real confidence.
"With AlphaTheta's support, we can now take that to the next level."

The scheme builds on Raver Tots' Stars of the Future campaign, run in partnership with DJ Mollie Collins, which has already given young performers the chance to play live at major festivals to crowds of over 5,000.
Mollie, known for her Kiss FM drum and bass show and free youth workshops in Kent, added: "This opens up DJing to kids from all walks of life — there's no pressure, just passion. It's amazing to see how much confidence and joy they gain."
At each festival, one lucky child will be awarded a scholarship place at an AlphaTheta-accredited DJ school and earn the chance to perform live on the Raver Tots main stage — joining a lineup that includes big names like Artful Dodger, So Solid Crew, and Leanne Louise.
AlphaTheta's Maisie Brizzolara, commented: "This collaboration is all about giving young people a fun, safe space to explore music, gain skills and discover what they're capable of."
The Richmond festival takes place on Saturday 31 August and promises a full day of family-friendly music, dancing, and creative workshops.\
