Police to host street briefing following Ham murder

Worried residents in Ham are being offered a street briefing by police this evening – Thursday - following a fatal stabbing.

An 18-year-old from Twickenham has been charged with murder following the death a week ago.

Police officers along with council officials and children's services will be on hand to offer advice, information at support at the junction of Maguire Drive and Vancouver Road from 7pm.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team of police officers for Ham, Petersham and Richmond will be hosting the briefing.

Police were called at around 11.20pm last Thursday to reports of a stabbing in the area of Maguire Drive.

No victims were found at the scene but shortly afterwards three men attended hospital having sustained stab injuries. These included, Mirko Naramcic, aged 31, from Twickenham, who subsequently died from his wounds.

Earlier this week, 18-year-old Leone Davies, of Rosslyn Road, Twickenham, was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Four other people – two females, aged 17 and 52, and two men, aged 19 and 20 - have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have since been released on bail.
