Here are a few snaps from Richmond Nub News readers of a parade of London buses from many decades ago.

The London Bus Museum organised for a fleet of old vehicles to hit the roads on its Route 65 Running Day on Sunday (April 11).

The museum's treasurer Peter Osborn said ahead of the event: "Route 65 has been a link southwards for the people of Ealing ever since the route was introduced in 1914, and has always been a busy and well-used route, connecting them with Brentford, Kew, Richmond, Kingston and points south.

"Londoners use their buses more than other people around the country and many of us grew up with buses like the ones that will be used in our event.

"I am looking forward to seeing local people out on the streets and the smiles on their faces when they see an old bus coming along.

"Museums are important, but nothing beats taking our transport heritage out on the streets for which it was designed."
