Petersham's amazing riverside cocktail bar that pops up on weekends

Quench your thirst this weekend by grabbing a refreshing drink at this mobile cocktail bar in Petersham.

The river towpath is always a popular route when the sun shines and with temperatures well into the 30s, a cool drink could be just the ticket.

Gareth Holden runs the pop-up bar with friends at the entrance to Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts - just past the meadows on the river towpath.

The scouts are building a new hut and drinks sales will contribute to the cause.

What's on the menu

The bar serves craft ale and lager on tap from Big Smoke brewery.

There is a wide range of flavoured gins, Prosecco and traditional cocktails.

Pimms, Aperol Spritz, mojitos, pina colada and a range of soft drinks are all on the menu too.

When it's open

The bar runs between noon and 7.30pm on Saturdays.

It closes half an hour earlier on Sundays.
