Catch up on the progress of Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu on the Big Screen on the riverside at Twickenham.

From tomorrow - Tuesday – a supersize screen will be on offer at the Diamond Jubilee Gardens, allowing visitors to sit and enjoy all the action of the Wimbledon Championships.

The venue will have chairs and beanbags to allow people to relax in comfort, while local cafes and pubs offer food and drink that people can enjoy while keeping up with the action.

The Big Screen will also offer a number of movie nights and screenings for children. These include the British comedy The Duke, starring Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent, which will be screened at 7pm on Friday night – July 1.

The screen goes live each day at 11am through to 8pm and the screenings are free to attend. Organisers have issued a plea to visitors to take their litter home with them.

The effort is being organised by Discover Twickenham, which is a group set and funded by businesses in the town centre.

A spokesman said: "Why not spend the whole day with friends and family by grabbing some picnic food from the local businesses or, indulge in some fine dining by popping into nearby restaurants and bars or spend a lunch time catching up with colleagues.

"Bring your sun cream, friends, family, colleagues, the dog and relax in our deckchairs or bean bags away from the hustle and bustle of life.

"On movie nights, you'll be immersed in the film with state-of-the-art audio."
