A new Filipino soul food restaurant in Richmond is offering 50% off food to mark its grand opening.

Kusina, a Filipino fusion chain known for blending Southeast Asian flavours with Southern Soul Food flair, is officially opening its latest location on Petersham Road today (Friday, 30 May 2025).

The restaurant has built a loyal following across London with its unique take on traditional Filipino dishes — reimagining classics like Jerk Inasal Chicken, Eight-Hour Braised Beef, and Ube Desserts — all served in a vibrant, street-smart setting.

"We're not your average Filipino restaurant," said Lorenzo Maderas, founder of Kusina.
