The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain covering south west London, including Richmond, for tomorrow (Tuesday, 27 January).

The UK's national weather service has warned that heavy rain could lead to transport disruption and localised flooding, with conditions likely to affect travel across the area.

According to the Met Office, residents can expect spray and surface water flooding on roads, which may result in longer journey times.

Bus and train services are also likely to be affected, with delays possible throughout the day.

There is a risk that a small number of homes and businesses could experience flooding, and the warning also highlights the potential for minor interruptions to power supplies and other services.
