A man has been arrested following a racially aggravated incident in the Sheen area, police have confirmed.

Officers responded to reports involving a male suspect, who fled the scene into Richmond Park yesterday (Tuesday, 10 June).

Police units pursued and located the individual inside the park, where he was stopped and arrested.

The suspect remains in custody as enquiries continue.

Richmond Police have not yet released further details about the incident.
